What do I do if my device no longer functions? I cannot reach it on the app and the buttons and lights do not work.

There are very rare circumstances where the utility power line drops voltage in a particular sequence (a type of brownout).  The resulting poor power signal can lock up the device.  At that point the device will not respond to commands from the app or from the buttons on the device.  If this happens, turn the power off and on to the device and it will reset and work normally again.
